AuctionCents™ offers many types of auctions and different access to these depending on your membership type. Currently we offer the following auction types:

RESERVE AUCTIONS:

Reserve Auctions may or may not have a cost to enter.  You do not get your bids back at the end of the auction unless the reserve price has been met. At the end of the auction, the winner is given the limited time opportunity to purchase the lot, providing the winning amount reaches or surpasses the reserve price that can be found in the specific auction details prior to the auction closing.  There are two types of Reserve Auctions: Reserve Point Auctions and all other Reserve Auctions.

Reserve Point Auctions require points for entry instead of bids.  Points are not refunded on Point Auctions.

All other Reserve Auctions require bids to participate.  Bids can either be earned from referral rewards, trading points for bids, purchasing bid packages, as well as winning and paying for an auction that contains bids within the winning lot.

In the event the reserve price is not met, participating users will get between 50%-95% of their bids back, determined by the users member level. NO RESERVE AUCTIONS:

No Reserve Auctions may or may not have a cost to enter.  At the end of the auction, the winner is given the limited time opportunity to purchase the lot. Participants do not get their bids back when the auction ends.

POINT AUCTIONS:

Point Auctions and have no cost to enter other than your points. You do not get your points back at the end of the auction. All Point Auctions have a reserve price. There are two types of Point Auctions: 100% Off (Free) Point Auctions and Regular Point Auctions. 

A 100% Off Free Point Auction (otherwise known as a Free Point Auction) is one in which require points for entry instead of bids. Additionally the winning bidder is not required to pay for the auction! The final cost of the free point auction is compensated by AuctionCents™ at 100%.

A Regular Point Auction is one in which require points for entry instead of bids. At the end of the auction, the winner is given the limited time opportunity to purchase the lot.

MEMBER LEVEL SPECIFIC AUCTIONS:

Member Level Specific Auctions may or may not have a cost to enter.  At the end of the auction, the winner is given the limited time opportunity to purchase the lot, providing the winning amount reaches or surpasses the reserve price, if applicable, that can be found in the specific auction details prior to the auction closing.  There are nine types of Member Level Specific Auctions: Beginner’s ONLY Auctions, Intermediate Auctions, Advanced Auctions, VIP M1 Auctions, VIP M2 Auctions, VIP M3 Auctions, VIP Q1 Auctions, VIP Q2 Auctions, VIP Q3 Auctions.

     Beginner’s ONLY Auctions allow solely beginner level users the right to participate.

     Intermediate Auctions, allow intermediate and advanced level users as well as all VIP users the right to participate.

     Advanced Auctions, advanced level users as well as all VIP users the right to participate.

     VIP M1 Auctions, allow all VIP users the right to participate.

     VIP M2 Auctions, allow VIP M2, M3, Q1, Q2, and Q3 level users the right to participate.

     VIP M3 Auctions, allow VIP M3, Q1, Q2, and Q3 level users the right to participate.

CENT SPECIFIC AUCTIONS:

1 cent Auctions increase the auction lots winning price by 1 cent every time a bid is placed.

2 cent Auctions increase the auction lots winning price by 2 cent every time a bid is placed.

3 cent Auctions increase the auction lots winning price by 3 cent every time a bid is placed.

AuctionCents™ currently only offers 1 cent Auctions. 2 cent and 3 cent auctions will be coming in 2022.

BUY NOW AUCTIONS:

Buy Now Auctions allow the purchase instantly, instead of waiting for it to close, and may or may not have a cost to enter.  At the end of the auction, the winner is given the limited time opportunity to purchase the lot, providing the winning amount reaches or surpasses the reserve price, if applicable, that can be found in the specific auction details prior to the auction closing. If you have participated in an auction that has the Buy Now feature activated, you will receive a purchase credit equal to your membership levels buy now credit amount multiplied by the number of bids previously used in that specific auction. This amount will be deducted from the “worth” cost plus any applicable processing and handling. If you have not participated in the auction, you can pay the “worth” cost plus any applicable processing and handling. See the “Does AuctionCents™ give my bids back if an auction isn’t won” and the FREE/VIP Membership sections for more specific details.

The only point at which an auction’s time is increased is when it has reached the auction’s original end date and time. Bids placed prior to the auction’s original end date and time do not increase the time of the auction.

The number of bids needed to win an auction depends on many factors and is always different.  It is possible to win an auction with only 1 bid, depending on the number of other participants and number of bids they have used. If you use 1 bid and win an auction, then you won the opportunity to purchase the auction lot at the winning price.

While this is possible, it is more likely you will need to use more than 1 bid to win an auction. See the auction’s details for more specific information and requirements.

AuctionCents™ gives bids back on reserve auctions in the event the reserve price is not met. Participating users will get between 50%-95% of their bids back, determined by the users member level. Additionally AuctionCents™ gives bids back on canceled auctions. Participating users will automatically get 100% of their spent bids back if an auction is canceled before its original end date and time.  Participants will also receive an email notification informing them the auction has been canceled and provide them with the details of the credit.

In the event the reserve price is not met, participating users will get between 50%-95% of their bids back, determined by the users member level. You can bid as many times as you would like on an auction provided you are allowed access to the auction, determined by your membership level. Yes, AuctionCents has Cent Specific Auctions There are three types of cent specific auctions offered by AuctionCents: 1 cent, 2 cent, and 3 cent.

1 cent Auctions increase the auction lots winning price by 1 cent every time a bid is placed.

2 cent Auctions increase the auction lots winning price by 2 cent every time a bid is placed.

3 cent Auctions increase the auction lots winning price by 3 cent every time a bid is placed.

AuctionCents™ currently only offers 1 cent Auctions. 2 cent and 3 cent auctions will be coming in 2022.

You can monitor an auction by visiting your User Dashboard when logged in. Choose the “My Live Auctions” to see the auctions you have participated in that have not ended.  If you are the winner at the end of the auction, once the auction has been manually verified by AuctionCents™ and the Admins and approve it, the winner will get an email notification.

If you have not participated in an auction yet or are unable to, you can choose the heart icon in the upper right of the auction preview, which will add it to your watchlist. You can view your watchlist by clicking on the number in the upper right hand corner under watchlist.

An auction ends when there are no more bidders and the timer's countdown reaches zero.

Auto Bids are bids which are setup on an auction's full details page (not its preview).  They allow you to set up multiple periods for the auto bidder to be active for that individual auction. See the other questions and answers in this Auto Bidding Help section for more information. 

This can be accomplished by clicking on the auto-bid option and adding as many lines as you’d like to the auto bidder. To add a line to the auto bidder simply fill out the three sections (Bid from, Bid to, and No. of Bids) and click the “Add More” button. You will see your entries displayed above the entry fields under the Bid from, Bid to, and Remaining Bids columns. 

This can be accomplished by going to the specific auction you are looking to remove the auto bid from and clicking on the auto-bid option.  From there you can choose the X to delete the line. You can only delete one line at a time from the auto bidder. 

There is no ‘best’ strategy for using the auto bidder.  This is mostly due to the fact that each auction has its own requirements that must be met for the win to be approved for payment.  So the first step in any bidding strategy would be to fully read and understand the auction lot listing. If you have questions about the listing, you should contact support through your Dashboard Inbox prior to placing any bids on the auction. 

The next step would be to comply with the requirements to ensure you are awarded the opportunity to buy the auction if won. Types of requirements where applicable consist of things such as: 

- having placed the minimum number of bids prior to the auction’s reserve price being met

- having not violated any terms and conditions, resulting in a suspension or cancellation

- having reached your monthly win limit of 100 wins per month

Or any other specific requirement on an auction.

When you set the auto bidder, we do recommend you add multiple entry lines, allowing you to bid during certain price ranges without needing to be online. 

It is important to keep in mind that auto bids you assign to auctions go against your current available bids.  You will see the correct number of bids you currently have, not the amount of bids you have unallocated to auctions. Instead, if you try to set the auto bidder, you will be informed that you do not have enough credit available.  You will not be able to use these bids manually either, if they have been assigned to an auto bidder already. So if you have 100 bids and you placed the auto bidder on an auction for 100 bids, you will have no more bid credits to use on any auctions or to set up any other auto bidders. You would still see 100 bids in your account, because those 100 bids are still unused even though they are assigned to other auctions. You would first need to earn/purchase more bids, or delete some/all of your auto bidders.

You do not automatically receive points for bidding when using the auto bidder.  Instead you have 7 days from the auctions close to request any earned points be added to your account. To receive appropriate points this must be requested from your Dashboard Inbox. Requests over 7 days after an auction's close will be granted at AuctionCents™ discretion.

Provided you have already registered for an AuctionCents™ account, you can choose the login with Facebook option. You must use the same email address on Facebook as on AuctionCents™ to successfully connect your account. 

We recommend registering through the website first, as registering with Facebook will potentially delay your ability to use the entertainment solution.

Additionally we strongly recommend registering through the website first with your Facebook account email address to prevent any accidental violations of the terms and conditions of use. Specifically, the registration of two accounts by one person, which can get your account(s) suspended or closed permanently with a loss of all bids, points, and/or money spent that has been unused and no refunds would be issued.

Choose the Forgot Password option on the login page above the login button. Then enter your email address and you will receive an email with further details.

Simply go to Edit Profile under your User Dashboard menu then update the information and click save.

A processing address is an address that would otherwise be a shipping address; however if nothing tangible is being shipped, the address becomes a processing address for required record keeping and future local/state/federal governments taxes/fees.  These sales taxes and/or other fees are not currently applicable, and still required for tracking.  Each state has their own sales tax laws and nexuses. As AuctionCents™ reaches state nexuses, we will update and maintain records and site documentations.  

Simply choose the My Address from your User Dashboard menu.

Yes, you can have more than one processing address.

If you are getting something shipped to you, your processing address would be used, unless you provide an alternate shipping address at the time of checkout.

To edit your profile simply choose Edit Profile from your User Dashboard Menu.

You can change your password from your user dashboard menu under change password.​​​​​​​

You can cancel your account from your user dashboard menu under cancel my account.  Please keep in mind that you will lose all bids and points and any ability to pay for auctions you have participated in and won.

If you referred someone and didn't get your member levels bid/points reward, make sure they used your referral link. If they didn’t, or chose to register with Facebook, bids and points will not be awarded.

If you are suspended or were suspended at the time of referral registration, you may not be eligible to receive points. Contact us on a case by case basis so we can provide the best resolution.

If you did not use manual bids, instead used auto bids, you must request your points be added to your account within 7 days of the auction closing. You must request this from your Dashboard Inbox.

There are two ways you can redeem points. First is trading points for bids under “Redeem Your Points” in your Dashboard User menu.

You can also redeem points in Point Auctions if your membership level allows it.

Go to your User Dashboard Menu and choose Transaction History.

Go to your User Dashboard Menu and choose Live/Won/Closed/Paid Auctions.

In your Inbox please submit a request to support including the date range(s) you would like to see.  We will send you a copy of your bid history for those dates.

Go to your User Dashboard Menu and choose Closed Auctions.

There are three ways to register.

1. With a referral link sent to you by email or from social media.

2. Register through the website directly without a referral link. 

3. Register with Facebook. While this is an option, we recommend registering through the site directly with your Facebook email address, and then once you’ve activated your account, link it to Facebook by logging in with Facebook. Registering with Facebook may cause a delay in your account being fully activated. You can always send us a message from your Dashboard Inbox once registered with Facebook and request your account be fully activated.

Users are only allowed one account. If you have registered for an account with an email address other than your Facebook email address, you must first change your Facebook email address. Do not login with Facebook if the emails do not match as you will become in violation of our terms and conditions of use for having multiple accounts. Feel free to contact us if you need help or any further clarifications.

First, if you have not already done so, you’ll want to check your spam or junk folder. If you do not see it, you can try to register again to make sure your email address was successfully registered. 

If it was registered successfully and you still never got an activation link, simply email helpdesk@auctioncents.com from the email address you signed up with.  Or you can contact us from our website under contact us in the menu.

Registering with Facebook is an option, although AuctionCents™ recommends registering through the site directly with your Facebook email address, and then once you’ve activated your account, link it to Facebook by logging in with Facebook.

Simply share your referral link with anyone and when they register you will get bids and/or points determined by your membership level.

Free AuctionCents™ memberships have no cost to the membership. There are three levels: Beginner Membership, Intermediate membership, and Advanced membership.

There is no need to pay for a membership if you do not want to. It is possible to enjoy AuctionCents™ without buying bids too, although it requires referrals and most users will want to purchase a bid pack to start using AuctionCents™ more often right away.

There are three FREE levels: Beginner Membership, Intermediate Membership, and Advanced Membership. The differences of the FREE memberships are broken up by the following categories:

Referral Bids, Referral Points, Bonus Points (Per Bid), Bid Back %, Deduct Amount, Buy Auction Time (Days), Bid Pack Auction Payment Due Limit, Normal Auction Limit, Total Number of Auction Available, Number of Regular Auctions Available, Number of FREE Point Auctions, Number of Regular Point Auction (Not Free), Lowest Win Prize (Value), and Highest Win Prize (Value).

All FREE Membership Levels are awarded 1 bonus point for each bid placed on an auction. 

BEGINNER:
Beginner Memberships are awarded 1,000 referral points for each referral that signs up from your referral link and activates their account. When a reserve auction’s reserve price isn't met, users get 50% of their bids back. If buy now is chosen on an auction in which you are a bidding participant and has not yet ended, you are awarded a per bid credit to your purchase of 5¢. Once an auction has ended, if you are the winner and the auction win is approved, you will have 3 days to purchase the auction from the date of email notification. Both your Bid Pack and Normal Auction payment due limits are set at $10 (20 total), so before you can bid on any more auctions you will need to pay for your won auctions.  There are currently 150 Auctions Available to this level with a lowest win value of $5 and a highest win value of $220.

INTERMEDIATE:
Intermediate Memberships are awarded 1 bid and 1,500 referral points for each referral that signs up from your referral link and activates their account. When a reserve auction’s reserve price isn't met, users get 60% of their bids back. If buy now is chosen on an auction in which you are a bidding participant and has not yet ended, you are awarded a per bid credit to your purchase of 6¢. Once an auction has ended, if you are the winner and the auction win is approved, you will have 5 days to purchase the auction from the date of email notification. Both your Bid Pack and Normal Auction payment due limits are increased to $25 ($50 total), so before you can bid on any more auctions you will need to pay for your won auctions.  There are currently 91 Auctions Available to this level with a lowest win value of $25 and a highest win value of $220.

ADVANCED:
Advanced Memberships are awarded 2 bids and 2,500 referral points for each referral that signs up from your referral link and activates their account. When a reserve auction’s reserve price isn't met, users get 65% of their bids back. If buy now is chosen on an auction in which you are a bidding participant and has not yet ended, you are awarded a per bid credit to your purchase of 10¢. Once an auction has ended, if you are the winner and the auction win is approved, you will have 5 days to purchase the auction from the date of email notification. Both your Bid Pack and Normal Auction payment due limits are increased to $100 ($200 total), so before you can bid on any more auctions you will need to pay for your won auctions.  There are currently 179 Auctions Available to this level with a lowest win value of $25 and a highest win value of $1,300.

BEGINNERS Milestone 1:

Participate in at least THREE (3) SEPARATE FREE POINT AUCTIONS. Then you can send a message to support requesting an upgrade to a Free Intermediate Membership.

INTERMEDIATE Milestone 2:

Use at least ONE (1) BID ON TWO (2) DIFFERENT BID AUCTIONS and use at least FIFTY (50) POINTS TOTAL IN ANY NUMBER OF POINT AUCTIONS. Then you can send a message to support requesting an upgrade to Free Advanced Membership.

It does not matter if the auctions have closed, or if you won the auctions.

Membership upgrades are typically processed within 1 business day, although may take longer. Before your request for upgrade to the FREE Advanced Membership (our 3rd membership level) is processed, AuctionCents™ may require government issued photo identification.

A VIP Membership is a Very Important Participant Membership which is offered in 3 different monthly and 3 different quarterly packages.

NOTE Currently VIP Memberships are 50% off the price locked in for the life of the subscription. Plans are currently $13.50 (100 bids monthly) - $240 (3,000 bids quarterly). Remember these prices are locked in. That means bids as low as 8¢ each LOCKED IN.

All VIP Level get 5,000 points for each referral, plus 5-35 bids. 

There are six VIP levels: VIP M1, VIP M2, VIP M3, VIP Q1, VIP Q2, and VIP Q3. The differences of the VIP memberships are broken up by the following categories:

VIP M1 Memberships are awarded 5 bids and 5,000 referral points for each referral that signs up from your referral link and activates their account. When a reserve auction’s reserve price isn't met, users get 70% of their bids back. Once an auction has ended, if you are the winner and the auction win is approved, you will have 7 days to purchase the auction from the date of email notification. Both your Bid Pack and Normal Auction payment due limits are increased to $150 ($300 total), so before you can bid on any more auctions you will need to pay for your won auctions.  There are currently 211 Auctions Available to this level with a lowest win value of $25 and a highest win value of $3,150. The Membership’s Monthly Billing Charge is $27 with a price subscription package Per Bid cost of 27¢. The current Memberships Launch Monthly Billing Charge is $13.50 with a price subscription package Per Bid cost of 13½¢  for 100 Bids every month. 54 Points are earned every billing cycle from the subscription (a 2% rate of points). And the voucher(s) awarded every billing cycle are one 10% off any bid package, one time use during the billing cycle.

VIP M2 Memberships are awarded 10 bids and 5,000 referral points for each referral that signs up from your referral link and activates their account. When a reserve auction’s reserve price isn't met, users get 75% of their bids back. Once an auction has ended, if you are the winner and the auction win is approved, you will have 7 days to purchase the auction from the date of email notification. Both your Bidpack and Normal Auction payment due limits are increased to $200 ($400 total), so before you can bid on any more auctions you will need to pay for your won auctions.  There are currently 211 Auctions Available to this level with a lowest win value of $25 and a highest win value of $4,200. The Memberships Monthly Billing Charge is $51 with a price subscription package Per Bid cost of 25.5¢. The current Memberships Launch Monthly Billing Charge is $25.50 with a price subscription package Per Bid cost of 12.8¢ for 200 Bids every month. 153 Points are earned every billing cycle from the subscription (a 3% rate of points). And the voucher(s) awarded every billing cycle are one 20% off any bid package, one time use during the billing cycle.​​​​​​​

VIP M3 Memberships are awarded 20 bids and 5,000 referral points for each referral that signs up from your referral link and activates their account. When a reserve auction’s reserve price isn't met, users get 80% of their bids back. Once an auction has ended, if you are the winner and the auction win is approved, you will have 7 days to purchase the auction from the date of email notification. Both your Bid Pack and Normal Auction payment due limits are increased to $250 ($500 total), so before you can bid on any more auctions you will need to pay for your won auctions.  There are currently 211 Auctions Available to this level with a lowest win value of $25 and a highest win value of $5,200. The Memberships Monthly Billing Charge is $96 with a price subscription package Per Bid cost of 24¢. The current Memberships Launch Monthly Billing Charge is $48 with a price subscription package Per Bid cost of 12¢ for 400 Bids every month. 384 Points are earned every billing cycle from the subscription (a 4% rate of points). And the voucher(s) awarded every billing cycle are one 10% and one 20% off any bid package, one time use each during the billing cycle.

VIP Q1 Memberships are awarded 25 bids and 5,000 referral points for each referral that signs up from your referral link and activates their account. When a reserve auction’s reserve price isn't met, users get 85% of their bids back. Once an auction has ended, if you are the winner and the auction win is approved, you will have 10 days to purchase the auction from the date of email notification. With a VIP Membership you have access to higher value auction lots and a low subscription bid rate. Rate is applicable to membership purchased. Users may purchase more bids beyond their subscription package at the then current rate and by using their valid VIP vouchers or other available vouchers.

VIP Upgrades are currently processed manually. If you purchased a VIP subscription and want to be upgraded as fast as possible, we recommend sending a message to us from your Dashboard Inbox with any available subscription transaction details.  We will upgrade the account as soon as payment has been verified.

This will need to be done from the payment solution option you chose. 

If you are not able to cancel this on your own, through the payment processor, please send a message to us from your Dashboard Inbox. We must receive this within at least 1 business day (24 hours) of your subscription renewal for it to be accepted and not billed for the next month. Cancellations on weekends and holidays will not count until the next full business day. If your subscription has been billed before the next full business day AuctionCents™ will not refund the current charges, and will not bill the subscription after that.

When you cancel your VIP Membership your account will be moved to an Advanced Member account once the cancellation has been successfully processed. Users will retain any bids and points they got from the VIP membership, however will no longer be able to participate in VIP auctions. Refunds will not be issued, and we recommend canceling your account roughly 5 calendar days prior to being recharged to keep the VIP Access as long as possible.

VIP Vouchers are issued every billing cycle. They must be used during the billing cycle or they expire. Each voucher can be used once by the VIP Member's Account.  VIP Vouchers will not be accepted unless your VIP Membership is active and in good standing. Buy Now is a feature that may or may not be activated for an auction. If there is a Buy Now option, that means you can purchase the item for the listed value price plus any processing and handling if applicable. 

If you have participated in an auction that has Buy Now available, and you choose to purchase the item instead of continuing to try and win it, you will be a bid back credit towards this specific auction’s buy now button. Your bid back credit amount is dependent on your membership level. Buy Now must be clicked and the transaction must complete before the auction ends.  See the FREE and VIP Membership Sections for more information.

AuctionCents™ currently accepts payments from accounts compatible with PayPal, PayPal Credit, Stripe, and Square. American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa are all accepted through any of the three site payment options.

If you are looking to make a payment another way, please feel free to contact support through your Dashboard Inbox letting us know how you would like to pay and we will do our best to accommodate you. This would include such things as Wire Transfers, Cash Apps, etc.

We accept Venmo Payments to designmarQ LLC, however request you first contact support before submitting any payments. This way we can ensure you are awarded your purchase appropriately and timely. 

You may mail a Check payable to designmarQ LLC, noting the bid package, voucher, auction #, etc. in the memo area or included with the check on a separate piece of paper. Once we have received and processed your payment successfully, your bids/points/items will be processed.

When you receive your win notification, you can go into your User Dashboard and access the My Won Auctions page and choose the Pay Now button next to the item you would like to pay.

Please see the individual auction for the total price of shipping if applicable. When applicable shipping will typically be adjusted into the winning amount before payment is requested. In some circumstances we may require an additional charge for shipping. 

As AuctionCents™ currently only provides digital products, a shipping charge is not applicable at this time.

A Voucher is basically a coupon that gives users free points and bids, or discounts on purchased bid packages. Vouchers are all different and may be subject to specific restrictions and/or member types. 

Watch your email, check our site, and feel free to message us from your Dashboard Inbox asking for a voucher.  Our Quarterly VIP Subscriptions get the largest vouchers with up to a 75% voucher off every billing period.

If your voucher did not add to your account, please contact us ASAP to have it added. 

If the voucher is being applied to a bid package purchase, you must request the voucher be added to the purchase within 24 hours of the transaction being paid. % off bid package price vouchers must be successfully added at the time of purchase. AuctionCents™ will only grant vouchers within 24 hours after purchase only if they give free points or bids. Requests after 24 hours of purchase will be at the discretion of AuctionCents™ .

A violation is any time you break the guidelines of the site or the terms and conditions of use. Violations consist of things like: having multiple accounts, signing up fake referral users to get free bids and points, working in partnership or collaboration with any other user participating in the same auctions as you, and other violations.

If your account has been suspended you will be provided with more details by emailing helpdesk@auctioncents.com from the email address your account is registered with. Depending on the violation, your account may be suspended indefinitely. Any time an account is suspended, all bids and points are removed from the user's account without refund. In some circumstances violations require you to pay up to $1.00 for each free bid you have used within the past 12 months. Paid bids are always used first.  Failure to pay for your free bids during a suspension (where required and applicable), will result in closure of your AuctionCents™ account.

Your account will be closed if you are a constant violator or have not complied with the requirements for reactivating your suspended account.  An account closure is permanent. Future registrations after a closure will be closed as well. In some circumstances violations require you to pay up to $1.00 for each free bid you have used within the past 12 months. Paid bids are always used first.  Failure to pay for your free bids may result in being reported to a collection agency, causing adverse action to your credit report.
